"I would give this place 5 stars it's very nice but there is a nurse that doesn't belong there she is very spiteful and she didn't give me my medications for my pneumonia bc I only did detox. She is the tall skinny female, with short black hair, and with the plastic surgery in her chest. She did this to me when I went there for detox before, taking my gabapentin for neuropathy due to me breaking my neck, my muscle relaxers for the same reason, andy antidepressants. She is terrible, and spiteful for some reason. Beware of this nurse she is in residential. She isn't like the rest of the employees that are great. Especially Anthony the detox nurse hands down the best nurse I've ever had. I called and hope you can look into this. Thanks."

"Worst job I’ve been at , staff sleeps on the job , management is very lazy and doesn’t put themselves in the workers shoes , and it’s a popularity contest , it’s like being in high school all over again . I’d recommend you find somewhere else to leave an impact on someone’s life cause here you’ll only be used as a worker and not an advocate for clients . BHT Manager never checks in with staff and only cares about rules that’s being implemented ."

"Riverside Recovery saved my life and continues to every single day. As I leave this review, I am still participating in their aftercare programs & look forward to being an alumi. It's clean, it's safe, it has staff that can tackle truly any medical situation. They can help you detox safely and transition you to a wonderful residential atmosphere. The staff is made up of mostly fellow addicts and those who aren't one of us are still incredibly knowledgable and passionate about this community. I encountered some rough situations as a result of other clients who didn't have the right mindset, and the staff here did NOT miss a beat. They care so much about the healthy environment they create. The groups are phenomenal, the therapists are hands on and caring. The facility itself has ample food options, and a nutritionist on deck if you need specialized meals. Nursing staff is available 24/7. Landlines to make calls to your family. Family therapists who can genuinely help. Housekeeping staff that makes the place look immaculate. This facility is incredible, it really is. If you or a loved one needs a place to go to get help, this is the place. I cannot recommend Riverside enough, and I will be eternally grateful for the gift of recovery - thanks to Riverside!"

"This place worked for me. I am rounding the corner to 2 years sober. This is the longest I have gone with out drinking since I started as a teen. If it worked so far why only 3 stars. Well I don't agree with some of their methods and policies. Many of the classes and group therapies are little more than basic. Lots of silly dealing with basic emotions, things you might teach a child, though to be honest, I'm sure many did benefit from them. I will say that some of classes that explained the technical science of addiction and how different substances affect you were extremely enlightening and very interesting and helped alot. My biggest gripe would really have to be with the forced isolation from the outside worlds and aspects of your life that they almost purposely cut you off from. Many people including my self had business issues that needed our attention and they made it almost intentionally difficult to handle even the most simple things. Though the primary goal is recovery, your outside life does not pause and wait for you to get better. I had a lease to renew for my office location, another person needed to submit a renewal for their professional license, others had to handle some things for their continued employment. We all had to wait for clearance and then were given mire minutes to handle extremely important tasks. And all countless and staff acted like it's OK for your life out there to fall apart or none of it was important and you were just engaging in some sort of addict behavior. One could say you should have all your ducks in a row before you enter but for a lot of us a month to 40 days in rehab was not something we planned like a vacation it was something that needed to happen right then and there and the outside world doesn't wait for that. I will say the facility was very nice it was a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for the most part, though the staff did cause problems with handling things on the outside they were all extremely professional and for the most part extremely helpful they just don't give a crap about what's going on in the outside and unfortunately sometimes that stuff does not wait."
