"I got approval from my insurance to start a weight management program here, this meant I was not going to pay full price and MediWeightLoss was aware and agreed to provide me with the service. I started in May and I was very happy at the beginning. They convinced me to buy a 4-month bundle package for the vitamin injections. Those are not covered by the insurance, so I paid that full price. A bit less than two months later, I was told during one of my appointments that they had decided to part ways with my insurance company and that if I wanted to continue with them I was going to have to pay full price. I don’t see a reason to stay with them as the only reason I chose them was because they were the only provider my insurance had this agreement with here in Tampa. I decided not to continue with them and they won’t reimburse the cost of the bundled items they convinced me to pay for at the beginning. I don’t understand why I got caught in a disagreement between them and the insurance company. They should be willing to reimburse me at least since they decided to stop taking my insurance just a month and a half after they convinced me to purchase for the bundled injections. They have offered me to go to their location until I run out of the injections but, there is no point in me doing that since I am already going to continue with a different provider. It’s not around the block for me to go only for that. Other than that, the staff was always nice and the program does work. I did lose some weight but I am very disappointed at how they left me hanging just 2 months after they took me in."
