"I had the pleasure of receiving counsel on a custody issue from Ms. Diaz. First time I spoke with her she gave me a free consultation. She spent quite awhile with me giving me detailed step by step instructions on how to proceed with my case. She told me I could do it all without the help of an attorney. She told me that after the first steps if I still felt I needed her services than her retainer was $2000 and around $400 an hour but she didn’t think I would need her. After things did not go my way with the court I decided to have Ms. Diaz take my case. I called her and told her up front that I wanted to retain her services and I was ready to pay the retainer. I then explained the current situation and she said “Let me save you some money” and again she proceeded to advise me on the next step in my case. Once again she said I could do it all myself but just Incase she scheduled an appointment for me Incase I ended up needing her. I have never dealt with an attorney as caring and whose main priority is not making money. Ms. Diaz was so kind to spend her valuable time advising me at no cost. This shows me that she would be the best attorney to fight for me because her motivation is doing what is best for her client and not trying to squeeze every dime possible out of her client. Family court is hard enough. If you are considering hiring an attorney for your case Ms. Diaz is who you want to represent you. Look no further because you’ve found the best. Update: I did end up needing to hire Mrs. Diaz. After we found out that we would have to see the judge to get emergency custody of my grand daughter I called Mrs. Diaz again and told her that I wanted to hire her to represent us. She ended up spending about 30 minutes with me on the phone and explained everything I needed to do so I would be prepared and then told me again that I could save money by not hiring her and could do it myself. I felt more comfortable having her represent us. She then only charged me half the amount that she had originally quoted me. When we went before the magistrate she was overly prepared. She had gone down to the courthouse prior to the hearing and submitted the evidence she had told me I would need. I had no idea I needed this evidence and no idea how to turn it in. She counseled me before the hearing and told me everything she was going to ask me in front of the magistrate so I would be prepared. The magistrate ruled in our favor. After he said that, she proceeded to present more evidence. He told her that was enough and that he had plenty of information. She clearly went above and beyond. Not only did she win the case for us but by turning in the evidence it will be on file when we apply for adoption or if my grand daughter's parents try to take her back. Mrs. Diaz is a very compassionate person. She is definitely in the field to help families and not for the money. This was evident in my case. It is so important to have an attorney who cares in family law. To me, that is the most important practice in which a compassionate and competent attorney is needed. I highly recommend her. It is too important to take a chance with another attorney."

"If you want to get what you’re paying for a fair (Representation) of course not guaranteed results; DO NOT hire her as your attorney or even consult. She does not care if you spend your life savings she will sweet talk you into hiring her as your attorney and “possibly” getting a favorable outcome but this is not true. She is unavailable 90% of the time and so are her “employees”. She cannot appear in court for some reason due to her busy schedule. She will then try and suck you dry and ask you for more money if you wish to continue services with her when she hasn’t even filed anything but 2 motions and never appeared in court to represent her client like she said she would. Take my word for it or your hard working money will be gone before you know it."
