I’m all about consistency and flavor and it had just enough crunch on the outside so it was not mushy, along with many delicate seasonings."

"Y'all, let me tell you about my horrific experience with Vegan Snack Shack. I'm all about supporting black-owned businesses, but this place? No thanks. The owner's behavior was straight-up disrespectful and unprofessional. I waited for two hours, called to ask about my order, and he had the nerve to tell me it was already delivered. Like, what app is he using? Because mine says otherwise. Not to mention I was SITTING in the lobby for TWO HOURS. And when I offered to drive to the store (seven minutes away, might I add), he told he had already delivered him. So I told him no problem, if it's not there I'll just give you a call back. He responds back and says don't call me back if it's not there. Sir, you shouldn't be in customer service if you can't handle a little phone call. But wait, it gets better. When he came back to the hotel (threatening to take my food, but there was no way in hell I was going to eat that food). He proceeded to argue with me, making comments about my energy, feelings, and body. I mean, who does that? It's like he took a masterclass in how to be a horrible human being. Needless to say, I won't be recommending this business to anyone. If you value good customer service and don't want to deal with a narcissistic, manipulative owner, stay far, far away from this place. I should have listened to the reviews! The reviews tell it ALL! Zero stars from me, and a big ol' warning sign to anyone who will listen. Trust me, you don't want to deal with this mess."

"I am visiting NOLA. I wanted to make this the first vegan restaurant I tried. I got the eggplant sandwich, fries, Hollygrove burger. I also had a berry drink. The berry drink was amazing. The eggplant sandwich and fries had too much salt on it. There was a wait for the food. They are only doing takeout at this time."

"This place is TRASH! I ordered a fried eggplant sandwich, bit into it and NO EGGPLANT. I was all batter. Beautiful Pattie’s of fried breading. 2 of the 4 pieces had a paper thin piece of I’m not sure what because my first bite was my LAST. I spent $35 on the poboy and a bottle water. The bread was not poboy bread either. I could not be more disappointed. I will never eat hear again and will be warning all my vegan and vegetarian friends and family to stay far away from this place. Pure trash."
