"Amazing all around experience! This was by far my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The tasting menu did not disappoint and every dish was delicious. The staff were so polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu. This is everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend!"

"Incredible fine dining experience. I was lucky enough to snag a table here for my party of five on a Saturday night and our meal was second to none. From the moment we walked in the door, every member of the staff made us feel at home. The menu was well contemplated and the cocktails were exceptional. Excellent choice if you want to enjoy the best New Orleans has to offer."

"We have visited August several times over the years and this visit was comparable to previous visits. i.e. It was very enjoyable. As usual we selected the Tasting Menu with Wine Pairings. Timing and service were excellent and each dish / wine glass was carefully described and presented. The only downside was we were surprised to notice a credit card fee on the final bill that we had not seen mentioned elsewhere. The manager spoke to us and removed the charge, although she appeared convinced the charge was mentioned elsewhere, but I admit I could not see anything on the printed menu, the menu displayed at the entrance or online."

"Had not yet been to August and was looking forward to a nice dinner, in no hurry to finish. Perhaps they needed to turn our table for another couple. We were finished in 50 minutes. Food was fantastic! Enjoyed the Oysters for appetizer and Snapper and the Wagyu for main course. Delicious! I shared that this was an anniversary celebration but will take responsibility for not sharing with hostess that we weren’t in a hurry. We asked our server to order an appetizer “so that we could take our time”. She explained the chef was in and everything had to be ordered at once. That was fine, except the food rolled out. We got a bit of Lagniappe, five minutes later we got the app…and fifteen minutes we got dinner I was going to order a glass of wine with my steak but decided to not draw it out. I’m likely being picky and the reviews are terrific. If I return I will set expectations for service."

"I went to August to have a birthday dinner, and decided to treat myself with the sampling menu. Could not be happier with my choice. Everything was PERFECT!!! Service was great, food was delicious, the wine pairing was superb with a selection of amazing Italian wines. Everything was cooked to perfection and served on a way that would make you think if you want to eat the food or display it on a museum. I will become a regular of this amazing place."
