"We ordered a lunch roll set (caterpillar roll, torch me slowly roll and California roll) and a chicken toriyaki / skewer, and it’s sufficient for a two people lunch. The caterpillar roll and torch me slowly roll were both delicious, but the chicken skewer was a bit not tender enough. It took us a while to wait for the bill during the peak hours in lunch time."

"Went in for dinner and ordered the 6 set hand rolls and they were all pretty unique. I really loved 5/6 of them with the exception of one(believe it was the scallop) that tasted a bit too much like mayo but still enjoyable. Also ordered the seared salmon belly which was amazing and awesome presentation. And probably my favorite was the lady killer which was packed with salmon and guacamole. Miso soup was also seriously good for it being such a simple item. I’ll definitely be coming back here again and thank you to our waiter for making us feel welcomed and for being really attentive."

"Overall: 4.75. Outstanding dining experience at the soft opening. So impressed with the friendly, quick service and tasty menu items. The sushi, salad, soup and hand rolls are as equally delicious as they are beautifully prepared. Located approximately 1/2 mile from DuPont metro. Limited street parking and paid parking garages. Only critique is the dining area is quite small. Suggest you make reservations. Tall ceilings and acoustically not too loud when packed with customers."

"When I stopped by here to eat they were doing a soft opening (they had officially opened two weeks prior). They sat me quickly and they were very friendly. The service was great and the atmosphere wonderful. The sushi here is amazing and delicious. The chef was kind enough to give me a dish and side dish free of charge which says a lot about them. Please consider them for your sushi cravings!"

"Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had at any food establishment to date. Our server Kay was very attentive and super nice as well as Chef Sonny! This place fed us so well it felt like our family was feeding us. Our food came out very quickly and tasted super fresh. For the price, the cuts of fish were tasty and thick and overall very worth it. Also, this is a great spot for date night or a gathering and you can even get to converse with the chef if you sit at the bar! As much as I want this business to do well and thrive, I would always want this to be my best kept secret. Will definitely be coming back!"
