"Have you tried Pizzeria Paradiso yet? I was excited to go to this place for DC Veg Restaurant Week after so many of my friends had spoken really highly of it. They are super vegan friendly—with delicious Follow Your Heart cheese that can be used to turn most pizzas vegan and friendly to those who cannot tolerate dairy. I was surprised to find that not only do they offer whole wheat crust, it was so good I actually preferred it to the standard. Plus, they have vegan desserts! Tony, the general manager, was super good to us, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Their back room was a great space, working well for our group of about a dozen people with a lot of ventilation. Don’t miss this great spot for vegan pizza!"
