"This practice is an absolute joke. I made an appointment here to have my Varicose veins assessed. Dr. Rao stated after doing an ultrasound scan and exam, that my condition was complicated. Between this and infection fears, Dr. Rao supposedly was going to send a letter of medical necessity to my BC/BS to perform some kind of injections. I waited a month and called my insurance company, who stated that pre authorization was never in fact sent. I then called the practice and was told that the fax had just taken place on Wednesday, when I called, and she would call me back in 1 to 2 days. 2 weeks later, no call back! I called again today only to hear I was denied on pre approval. I doubt a letter was ever sent by doctor and will call my Local UPS Teamcare to verify again. This practice is rediculous. I don't even know how they stay in buisness. Quest diagnostics here must be keeping them afloat. I wouldn't trust this practice to touch me at this point of its ridiculousness and failure to take action as well as rediculous excusses. I will definitely take myself to a practice that actually cares, follows up, and follows through! Leaving 1 star only because I have to for review."
