"I purchased a $6500 electric bike from these people with a 90 day warranty. Date of Purchase: May 28. The very next month in the 2nd week of June, the bike charger failed. We contacted Sun Sports, & were told that the bike charger is part & parcel of the $6500 purchase price, & as such, it should be covered by the 90 day warranty. However, a replacement charger would not be available until the next month!!! My son took the broken charger apart to try to fix the wiring inside, but it was not fixable. A month later, in July, when the new charger was ready for pickup, come to find that SURRON would not honor the 90 day warranty due to the fact that my son tried to fix the failed part. What was he supposed to do? Sit around & wait for a month to be able to ride his brand new $6500 bike??? I was charged an extra $334.36!!! It is patently absurd that I should have to pay over $330 extra to replace a part that failed after LESS THAN 1 MONTH'S USE!!! I feel that this is unfair, unreasonable & needs a bit of a better RESOLUTION. Judy L. Mahon"
