"I have never been so disappointed in a business. I had been a member at this studio for years, and even worked out alongside the owners back when they first opened. The lack of respect from their new manager Gaby, is appalling, to the point that she implied that I never filled out my cancelation paperwork to my husband when he continued to see charges on our card. Not once did she concede this could be an issue on OTFs side. Not once did she say what plan is in place to prevent this again. I asked to speak with Mr. Lugo the owner, so that he could hear what was happening, because surely he would have an interest in how his members were being treated. It is unfortunate that he had no respect towards me as well, implying that he had no proof of the missing paperwork. He did not want to address issues with his cancellation process like giving a copy of the paperwork to members who cancel to assist in instances when their staff are incompetent in filling them appropriately. Mr Lugo says he has calls like this all of the time, with angry members who want to get reimbursed. That should be the first clue that something is falling through on their end. My only request from him was an apology. That was given in a sarcastic, insincere way. I would to stay far away from this studio."

"The owner here seems like a real scumbag. Ruined an employees future job and then tried to get her to come back. Who would work for someone like that. I've worked out at tons of OTF and would never support someone who does this. There is a recording of the phone call."

"Being in a supervisory role myself I find it hard to believe that your managers aren’t coached by HR on the “do’s and dont’s” of leadership roles. Unless they are, in which case a manger blatantly disregarded the training and took retaliatory actions against an employee(which is federally illegal mind you) by calling her interviewer and telling them she was a liar and not to hire her. After which they rescinded their offer of employment. Now I’m sure as an institution itself this isn’t reflective of how you do things, however you have a manager that acts as a representative of your company out here making these decisions and it reflects on you poorly. I would suggest corrective action be taken and things made right with this employee. We both know when it comes to labor laws, not even the biggest companies legal teams like to mess around (ours doesn’t and we’re an $8billion/year company so we dedicate plenty to our legal department) Make things right and I’ll happily remove my criticism of the way your company runs."
