"So accommodating and helpful. They were the only scuba group I could find that would try to make a weekday scuba trip out of season happen- and it did happen even with high winds in the gulf! We ended up driving up to a springs, where I also took a perfect buoyancy course through padi at the instruction of Scott. Highly recommend Scott! A truly great instructor! "I spent several days with the team at Adventure Outfitters and had an amazing experience. Adventure Outfitters is truly a family affair which makes the experience that much better. The team is professional, knowledgeable and makes learning and diving comfortable regardless of your skill level. I completed my Rescue Diver certification as well as several additional certifications with Alex, one of the owners. My buddy, a first time diver, completed his Open Water certification with Jenny, the second owner and Alex’s wife. We dove at three different sites during my time with them. The coca-cola colored waters of Hudson Grotto, the murky waters of Lake Denton and the amazing crystal clear site that is Buford Springs. All of the sites were fun and unique in their own way and served as great dive locations and training sites. Buford Springs in particular truly felt world class. Depths of up to 160ft and a huge cavernous expanse made this dive site feel like it was something straight out of Discovery channel episode. I would highly recommend hanging out with the crew at Adventure Outfitters whether you are new to diving, experienced and looking to advance your skill set or just coming into Tampa for a fun weekend.
