"I received an electronic bill from this company for ER services. My name is misspelled on the statement. The amount due does not match any figures associated with the Medicare claim. When I called, Dominick informed me that Medicare refused to pay, thus the $1,00+ bill. He could not tell me if they had filed with my supplemental insurance company. When I read off the claim number and the amounts paid listed on my Medicare statement, Dominick asked for a copy of that statement, my policy number, and the phone and address of the Medicare office. What? If this is a legitimate business, wouldn’t they have Medicare’s contact information? Have I just supplied my policy number to a scam operation? I’ve requested an itemized bill. We’ll see if I get one. **Turns out this is the doc’s bill - the other one was from the hospital’s ER. They submitted the account numbers and the spelling of my name incorrectly, resulting in a denial. They could have called me, because they sent texts about an unpaid bill. A simple call asking me for correct information would’ve gone over much better than just sending me a bill which resulted in a great deal of confusion."
"If they don’t fix the fraudulent bill I just received from them, I will come back to this review after my lawyer is finished with them in court and let you all know the outcome!"
"We use Arietis Health to manage our medical billing, and I have been very pleased with their service. They have an outstanding team that cares deeply for both their clients and the patients they serve. They have strong performance metrics and will collaborate with you to continually improve results."
"I contacted Arietis to obtain a Good Faith Estimate for one of their clients, Northstar Anesthesia, and exchanged several emails with LeAnn Jones, Manager of Special Billing. Despite the fact that Arietis is required by law to provide an estimate upon request, LeAnn instead offered various excuses and eventually refused to provide an estimate because she stated that medical billing is "very complicated". Note that per the CMS website, the No Surprises Act requires Arietis to provide a Good Faith Estimate "upon request", it does not require that I provide Arietis with HIPAA releases or evidence I'm going to pay them for surgery. Also, if you look at Google Reviews for Northstar Anesthesia, LeAnn has historically lied to patients and provided falsified Good Faith Estimates so that she can pursue collections activities. In my line of work, we would call this "fraud". I would finally ask why exactly is LeAnn so closely involved with Northstar billing when according to Google Reviews, dozens of other patients are reporting the exact same types of billing problems? Does Arietis not see it as a problem that LeAnn bills for services Northstar never performed, refuses to provide itemized invoices, sends patients to collections after they already paid, and refuses to answer her phone or respond to emails to fix the problems LeAnn has created? Arietis' refusal to comply with the No Surprises Act exposes their clients to substantial legal liability. Healthcare providers should think carefully before working with them."
"So apparently I was part of this data breach at Arietis Health and received a letter offering a one year service for identity protection from CyEx. - Great idea right? However, to obtain the free 1-year monitoring service, you are required to provide PII information. SMH. Speaking as a cybersecurity specialist, If this is a legit letter and offer, I would NEVER advise to provide PII info. This information should be obtained directly from Arietis to CyEx. SMH. Oh and last thought, you should fire your head of IT ( Jordan Kelly?) for allowing a 3rd party tool (MOVEit) to transfer our information. unbelievable. Hope you guys bounce back from this."
