Reviews
"This review is for the cape coral location but they conviently don't have that marked on the map to review. The facility and reception, nurses and sonographers are great. The doctors are hit or miss. I had a good experience with one and felt either not listened to or upsold by the others. Luckily for pediatrix (actually its by design) the MFM scene in the area is held by a pediatrix monopoly so you probably don't have any choice other than which of their locations you would like to go to. Wait time for first appointment was a month. They are VERY expensive and of course you have to allow them to use some third party medical service which makes you put all of your information online repeatedly and gives you a dozen obnoxious reminders and even shows you ads. Lord knows what else. But the real problem was that I had a c section that I didn't need, and missed out out a natural birth experience, and let my child be born prematurely because of their Consistently inaccurate (highly- even beyond their given "range") ultrasounds. For MONTHS my ultrasounds were measuring the baby weeks ahead and the tech didn't seem to be the problem. MULTIPLE techs were getting the same 3 week difference at multiple measurements for all body parts and their techniques appeared within standards. This leads me to believe either the equipment being used is faulty or its a problem with the algorithm. This needs to be investigated. Whens the last time those machines were calibrated? As a patient I wouldn't trust any measurements given during the ultrasounds and I would be sure to get a second opinion from another business before making any important medical decisions. Also please look into the reviews for the NIPT testing service they recommend Nateara before you use it. Several class action lawsuits, inaccurate and terrifying results, SOP billing "errors". Watch out."
"Prepare yourself: these people do not care about you or your baby. They care about their paychecks. 2021 was when I was first a patient, pregnant with twins via IVF. I was referred to MFM high risk due to being an IVF patient. From day one I should have known they weren’t worth their salt. You have to pay for your deductible to them, there’s no co pay option. With twins, you pay 2X whatever they are charging. You will get a long ultrasound at every appointment. Then you will see the doctor for 2 minutes. It’s never the same doctor though so continuity of care is non existent. From 14 weeks to 24 weeks I saw them biweekly. At my 24 week appointment they saw my cervix had shortened and one of my babies water bags was hanging. I was in severe preterm labor. I was given the choice to either go home on bedrest or be admitted to the hospital. I asked what Dr. Endres wanted me to do and she said “most people start to feel like they are going crazy at the hospital after a while, go home”. A week later I was bleeding and on my way to the hospital with contractions. The doctor who admitted me in OB triage said “why didn’t you want to be admitted from day one? It says here you refused it?” I said, no I was given the option and the Dr suggested I try to stay home. Lied on my records. Once admitted I did see Dr. Endres once the day I was admitted. After that I was put in 3 different rooms, and monitored for 3 days. My daughters were born 3 months premature at 25 weeks and 3 days. One of my daughters died at 2 weeks old. The other spent 4 months in NICU. MFM calls all the shots on any delivery before 39 weeks. I paid them so much money and was told they were the best. Absolutely nothing was done to prevent my babies to being born at 25 weeks. They did have the audacity to call me multiple times to collect the $1700 debt I had incurred while I was admitted, all while I was picking out an urn for one baby and tending to my living, medically fragile NICU baby. You will never hear from them to check on you and baby again. Now, I’m 32 weeks pregnant and made it this far because my new doctor advocated for me to have a cerclage done at 15 weeks. I am high risk again and am being asked to see MFM again. Since I have a collections debt from 2 years ago that has been sold twice, they are refusing to book my appointment. How suiting of them. Again, they don’t care about you or your baby. They care about payments. I am now having to track down this debt to pay it off so I can see the doctor. Again, beware. No one here actually cares about you or your baby."
"Not even a star deserves an entity that treats high-risk pregnant women and cancels my daughter's appointment two days before because they don't accept her insurance after having the first appointment has been an ordeal. They do not accept payment agreements, that is, money first and then the well-being of the pregnant woman. There is no empathy or love for the profession."
"Dr. Enders however has horrible bedside manner and should consider finding another field to work in. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the horrible interaction that I had with her. She is extremely condescending and will make you feel like you’re drug seeking - need flash: patients can’t order their own medication while in the hospital. I would not trust her to care for you, as long as the baby is fine, that’s all that matters. She doesn’t care about the woman the baby is growing inside of. It makes me sad to have to leave a review like this, because every other interaction I’ve had with the office staff and other doctors (Porter, Kramer, and Williams) has been phenomenal."
"This was my first ultrasound at the ft myers clinic and my last for this pregnancy and the treatment I received by the ultra sound tech Constance was something I wasn’t use to. I was early for my appointment so the rush and bad bedside manner really left a bad taste in my mouth. Blurry ultrasound photos on an 38 week pregnancy and her asking me if I can see the face when there was no clear photo of eyes or lips and her just leaving the towel on my stomach for me to clean myself up as if I was a one night stand or something. I wasn’t even sure how to react. Even the doctors have helped me clean up after having ultrasounds done and I’ve been seeing MFM since July. thankfully everything was good with my pregnancy or I would have been even more upset. I work in the medical field and I know we all have bad days but you work with women who are having high risk pregnancies and other important health problems. Have a little more heart or find a new field. I would give less stars but the office staff (front desk, medical assistants and doctors) have all been pleasant at this location. posted the photo of my child’s “face”."
