"-Depends on which tech you get. The lady that drew the blood was was playing semi-loud music at her station. Didnt seem like a professional health care space. But her attitude was pleasant. -The waiting room is spacious, looks clean, enough chairs, and right by the front entrance of the building, so you don't have to walk very far once entering the building. The light is dim and comfortable, floor is carpeted. Relaxing ambiance for a waiting room. Much better than the one at Bass road, thats for sure. That other place is terrible and the woman in charge there has a terrible attitude even to her coworkers."
"Trying to get an EKG scheduled for my pre-op and I called yesterday morning at 9:30 and it is 3:30 p.m. the next day and still have yet to have anyone call me back. I have nothing but trouble with all Lee health services returning calls It is absolutely absurd"
"I love this place. It is clean & the staff is efficient. The problem is it doesn't take everyone's insurance. I was there at 7am today & I got right in. I am on Medicare so no issue. It is a Lee Hospital facility but my Millennium doctors see all their reports quickly. I get lab results on My Chart in just a few hours."
"The phlebotomist (Black lady) was very accommodating however she needs proper training. After getting the blood she removed the needle PRIOR to removing the tourniquet. This seems to be common practice for her based on an earlier review. Please retrain her before she causes serious injury to someone."
"I went to draw my blood on 5/3/22. The phlebotomist who called my number is the black girl who worked that day in station three. I say the black girl because she wasn’t following Lee Health policy and had her badge flip over so you couldn’t see her name (all the other phlebotomist there had their badges facing towards the patient). For starters she was very rude. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is that she can’t do her job correctly. When she went to draw my blood, the minute she inserted the syringe I felt a very sharpe pain in my wrist and my entire arm went numb. I asked her to stop and remove the syringe and she remove the syringe WITHOUT FIRST TAKING OFF THE TURNIQUET BAND. You NEVER remove the needle without first releasing the tourniquet band. It can collapse the vein and also cause cardiac problems. Well, today 5/4/22 I am in excruciating pain in my lower arm. Can’t pick up anything without sharpe pain and numbness. It seems like she punctured or injured my radial nerve. I will be seeing a hand surgeon to make sure she didn’t cause permanent damage. But I want to make everyone aware of how incredibly dangerous this lab is. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a horrendous experience. Lee Health needs to stop hiring incompetent people. Who are not just incompetent but rude. I hope this helps someone stay clear from this place or any Lee Health lab for that matter."
