Steven Seltzer, DO

Welcome to the practice of Steven J. Seltzer, DO, a dedicated healthcare provider located at 2200 16th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Seltzer is committed to offering comprehensive primary care services to the St. Petersburg community. With a focus on adult primary care, wellness, and preventative care, Dr. Seltzer also specializes in medically supervised weight loss, dermatological evaluations, and orthopedic joint and trigger point injections.

Dr. Seltzer earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida. He is board-certified in internal medicine and a distinguished fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI). His professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

Since 2019, Dr. Seltzer has been a valued primary care provider at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Medical Group. In addition to his clinical practice, he has shared his expertise by teaching medical students and residents, contributing to healthcare publications, and serving as a medical consultant for local television.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Seltzer enjoys photography, cooking, and staying active through running, biking, skiing, hiking, golfing, and fishing.
