"I was a patient of Dr. Smith and nurse practitioner Jennifer Friedman (Colemam) for many years and I've had both excellent and horrible experiences with this office and staff regarding how patients are treated. Some of the staff in reception are consistently kind and remember things about you and chat with you while waiting to be seen in the waiting room or while getting your vitals taken by a nurse. That can't be said about the nurse practitioner and a few nurses. Dr. Smith tries to understand what your medical needs are but his staff and referrals are bringing his practice down. I was told by the nurse practitioner I was a diabetic out of the blue one visit, handed a blood glucose meter, and then she wished me good luck and that she'll see me in three months. No instructions, no referrals to a dietitian or endocrinologist, when to test, nothing. She did a home visit once with her small daughter in tow and a nurse. As they were all leaving my home, the nurse practitioner whispered loudly to the nurse, "I told you so" and they both laughed before they even stepped off my porch. I never said a word about that but switched to see Dr. Smith instead. Dr. Smith set me up on a referral with an orthopedic specialist on a video appointment. It was done at his office and he peeked in a few times. I believe the specialist was his wife so when she ended up being beyond rude to the point of rolling her eyes, repeating things when I asked her to explain, and completely dismissed me. If Dr. Smith ever reads this, the culprit causing agonizing pain was polycythemia vera, a pinched nerve where my herniated disc was, and an enlarged spleen, not a foot that I'd never had problems with. After being dismissed so readily by the specialist, I never went back. When I did bring up health concerns to the nurse practitioner, I was either ignored or told to fix the problem myself. The level of care by everyone but Dr. Smith are sub par and I hopes he clears out the people who genuinely don't care. They act as if they are not concerned about you as a person: emotionally, mentally and physically. If you need to get in quickly, the receptionist Bonnie will do whatever she can to get you seen immediately and only deal with Dr. Smith."

His office staff are so nice and when I need to get a sample of something they are happy to help me whenever I needed it.
