"I was disappointed by the dishonesty of his office staff when I called in to schedule another colonoscopy after being told to come back in 2yrs. after the previous one, by Dr. Tripodis. They said he was no longer a Gastroenterologist & is now specializing in being a Family Practitioner. When I asked if they could lvm to have him call me back, the receptionist said in a haughty demeanor, "He is not taking any new Family Practice patients." After that, I had been going through surgeries with breast cancer reconstruction & just decided that I didn't want the negativity & thought it was probably all for the best. In reality, who would want to be part of such an uncaring & unsupportive group. Since then, I see he still promotes himself as a Gastro doctor. That is why I am writing this a few years after the fact. It's very sad & hurtful to being treated with such a disrespect. I felt that I got along well with the Dr. & his staff.. It seemed as though they were picking & choosing, instead of taking on the mindset of helping all & being supportive to those who truly need the support during a difficult time."
