"4 years house: 4x roof leaks Drain field need replace (wrong build a lot of money!) bluepring doesn’t match with reality’s Quality sucks a lot of not paint parts of walls, everywhere glue from bluetape on floor tiles, after week drain leak in master bathroom and more…"
"Buyer beware!! Brand new house we thought would be easier—NOT—basically we have a fixer upper—the problems we have are endless! It’s crazy that after a year anything that can go wrong has! We were told by 2 different septic companies that what was used was meant to only last a year?? The outlets on the exterior of the House are not exterior outlets! Roof leaks!! Some interior doors do not lock- dishwasher hasn’t worked since we moved in! He claims he uses the best of the best products but really it seems he gets things at close out sales based on the quality of everything we have wrong Our hard earned money down the drain seems month after month all we are doing is dumping more money into the house Shower leaks into the garage as well Don’t be desperate-there’s other builders out there please learn from our mistake"
"I totally agree with all the comments regarding issues with new built homes. There 2 huge holes in our back yard, which were promised to be filled, they lied. Now we are going to have to pay for at least 30 loads to fill the holes???? Horrible work with the electric wiring of the home. Breaker is ALWAYS tripping. So bad that a brand new microwave has had to be replaced?? Horrible cable and phone wiring. Cable & phone company had issues trying to access wires in all rooms in the house (i.e. all bedrooms, living room, family room, etc) that the companies had to do their own installation?!? Front doors don't close properly unless you lock the door?! There are SO MANY other issues & concerns that I advice all new customers to beware of this home building company!"
"Lux Enterprises have gone above and beyond my expectations. The beauty of the house I got built and the quality work that the owner, Diomig Delgado, and his company put in the building process is second to none. The floor plan I chose was very well designed as well as the quality materials used for the construction and the quality of the work being done throughout the property. I went by the property while it was being built several times and got to experience first hand the quality of work display but the construction workers which is fantastic. This company makes it not only a pleasure to work with but also very stress free process from the time you start to the time you are given your keys."
"I bought a LUX home. Here is what we did not get. WHAT WE ARE MISSING That the builder did not supply for the purchase price of the house Any towel bars Any toilet paper holders Doorbell Linen closet Pull down attic stairs A mailbox Builder’s picture show house surrounded with bushes, bark chips, other landscaping What we received – no bushes, no chips, no landscaping Builder’s pictures show a full and complete lawn from the house to the street. Since the purchase we added 2,000 sq feet of sod and we have barely covered one half of the ground that the builder disturbed. Obscured front door. Most builders who supply glass front doors obscure the door with a pattern (e.g. rainfall, etc.) What we got – clear front door. Legal water pipes per county code. The county requires thick wall pipe from the well to the house. We got thin wall pipe. Booster pump. A reverse osmosis system requires a water booster pump. We had to purchase it with our own funds. Separate circuit/breaker for the septic pump. Ours was combined with the bedroom lights causing ongoing power outages. Patio ceiling fan. We had to purchase one. Door locks that work. MBR bathroom lock has never worked. Builder won’t repair. A window screen for each window. Builder left one out. We had to purchase it ourselves. Hurricane locks for garage door. This is an abbreviated list. Buyer beware!!!!!"
