"We live on Sanibel, and since Hurricane Ian we have been through remediation and remodeling twice. The first go round was a bit sub-par, so we really wanted to be careful who we hired the second time. Fortunately, after selecting iMold for remediation (they were wonderful), we were referred to Guthrie Builders for the "put-it-back-together-better" job. They have a fantastic team! Guthrie's duties went far beyond patching drywall. For starters, they had part of our roof completely rebuilt because it still leaked after being replaced twice in the last 3 years. It finally doesn't leak anymore, thank GOODNESS. Guthrie also replaced all of our carpeting and wood floors with LVP (which we love), did some misc carpentry and tile work, and painted the majority of the living areas. They arranged for competent electric and plumbing contractors to pitch in on the project, who we were also very pleased with. The electricians fixed stuff that 2 or 3 other companies did not, and the plumbers were very fair. They even arranged to have our house and the rental house we were staying in cleaned. We were happy with that company also! When typical minor issues arose during the course of the project, Jeremy was right on it, making it clear they wanted us to be happy and would do whatever it took. He made good on his word, right down to making sure our final bill was correct and very reasonable. We will gladly recommend Guthrie Builders to anyone looking to build or remodel!"
