Reviews
"Our home was built 2 years ago by Trademark. I agree with the reviews given. Ceiling fans were off center along with dining room ceiling fixture. This problem was fixed after much complaining how awful it looked. Worse part was that the company didn’t pay the last insurance premium on the home which at the time we had not yet closed on it. Multiple phone calls and texts with no answer. We had to pay out of our own pocket for the last premium payment."
"The worst general contractor ever. They advertise as architect and engineer but neither is licensed in those professions. In fact, the house picture they advertise on their website was built by someone else. They lie about everything and substitute inferior materials for your selections, gaslighting you when you dare question their actions. Tantrums are common and they lack any trace of business etiquette. The end product (if you get that far and they don't simply take your money and run) is a cheap, unprofessional job not up to code or contract with a lot of extra problems lurking behind the walls."
"Stay away from this dishonest, unethical, ponzis schemer of a builder. Have you heard of the phrase. The House that Jack built and then blamed the contractors he hired to do a lousy job? Stay away!"
"They don't answer the phone or respond to emails. Very unprofessional."
"I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Trademark Homes, and I must say that it was extremely disappointing. Their inefficiency, lack of attention to detail, poor workmanship, and lack of communication were glaring throughout the entire process. From the outset, it was evident that Trademark Homes lacked organization and efficient proper management. The land was cleared on April 29, 2021, yet the block and trusses weren’t completed until November 2021. Then over the course of the building process, our house sat for weeks, even a month at a time with no work done. In addition, our paperwork was lost not once, but twice, which caused the wrong items to be ordered and us not to get the items stated in our contract. It was so frustrating to be given a choice, yet not receive the items we chose. Furthermore, the lack of attention to detail in their work was evident in the finished product. The craftsmanship was subpar, with visible false and shoddy finishes in various areas of the house. Some examples are trim work, baseboards on backward, crooked walls, columns not squared, doors not completely painted, and paint already peeling from my front door and window casing. It was disheartening to see such a lack of care and precision in their work, especially considering the substantial investment we made. One of the most frustrating aspects of our experience was the poor communication. Throughout the project, it was challenging to get updates or receive timely responses to our inquiries. For the most part, we only heard from them if they needed to “verify” something or after we initiated the communication, and mostly this was due to wrong items delivered or installed and then coordinating work to get done. This lack of communication only exacerbated the already frustrating situation. As far as our contract, stated: “Substantially completion to be within approximately 180 calendar days, which starts the day concrete slab is poured.” The slab was poured on August 12, 2021, and we closed on our house on October 27, 2022. Overall, I cannot recommend Trademark Homes based on my experiences. Their inefficiency, lack of attention to detail, poor workmanship, and lack of communication made the entire process extremely disappointing. I would advise all potential homeowners to make sure they have done their research before choosing Trademark Homes to build their homes. *I am writing this review 8 months after our closing, which is how long it has taken to get the punch list done, with one more item in question."
