"Checked the place out first then came back with our 16 ft pontoon. With space for 4 boats to launch at a time, there wasn’t a line, and everyone that was putting their boats in showed common courtesy and pulled up, launched and parked their vehicle. I found the $10 fee to be reasonable for the 4 docks that were in good condition and not slippery, the restrooms, ample parking, fishing pier and cleanliness of the park. I noticed on the way out that they have a “loaner” life vest area, where you can borrow a vest for a day if needed and return it when you come back. It would definitely come in handy in a situation where you may be taking kids one time when you don’t normally have a need to have a child size vest on your boat. It’s also a good ramp for inexperienced boaters to launch and not feel pressured to rush and make a mistake."
"Nice park. Lots of people fishing, didn't see anyone catching. Lots of parking."
"I love coming out here and just being near the water. You can see manatees occasionally. Water birds: pelican, cormorant, and ahningas."
"Stayed at the lakehouse next door. We watched the boats go out and come in all Labor Day weekend. I could do that forever! They could use some extra monitoring on holidays. There were a couple of heated arguments.Beautiful area!"
