"Carmax is a scam. They have done nothing but take advantage of my 75-year-old father with the purchase of the most expensive vehicle of his life. If you are a senior citizen in Naples, Florida, please do not go here. They will do nothing but take advantage of you over and over and over again. He bought a brand new jeep grand Cherokee from Carmax. They sold it to him with a part of the bumper poking out and needed a bumper clip after calling multiple times they finally took it in to get fixed. The tech advisor told him that because the bumper clip was wasn’t there it had scratched the fender and they were going to put touchup paint on it and do him a favor and even acted like they were doing him a favor in reality when they’re in-house mechanic took it apart he clearly used a flathead screwdriver instead of a bumper removal tool and messed up the front fender. They put touchup paint on it (did an awful job a toddler could have done better) and proceeded to act like it happened from the bumper being loose when the bumper clip that was missing was around the headlight housing and not even on the end of the bumper and the bumper wasn’t loose. A little part was sticking out, the reality of it is we should’ve left it alone and at least it won’t be scratched and not fixable now I have to take my car to a body shop and have them re-spray the entire front fender on my fathers brand new $40,000 car. it’s amazing to me that they had the audacity to call my father and act like it happened from the bumper clip not being there and they were doing him a favor , only until I showed him photos on my phone of no damage before he took it and made him realize the clip missing was around the headlight no the part of the bumper that meets the fender . Did he realize that they had taken advantage of him! I also am a licensed mechanic with my own shop out of Orlando, Florida. It is clear that they used a screwdriver to take the part of the bumper out ruining the fender instead of a soft plastic bumper removal tool not only do you not want to buy a vehicle from Carmax of Naples, you don’t want them to service any of your vehicles if you’re sadly unlucky enough to buy from them do not take your car to get repaired or an oil change or any type of service from them unless you want them to ruin your vehicle, if you are lucky enough to get out of their unscathed , never go back. Senior citizens beware"

"Ridiculous. Will never do business here. I went in and spoke with a lady at the front. I explained that I had received an offer after putting my vehicle information in online but wasn't sure if I had done it right and asked her to have someone look at my car to see if the value given online was accurate. She refused. She said whatever was offered online is what they would pay and there would be no difference in the offer and the only way for an actual person to look at my car would be for me to tell them I was ready to sell the car right then and there. I was ready to look at 2 vehicles they had on their lot but I wanted to confirm the site unseen, self input value of my vehicle and she wouldn't do it. I specifically asked if she could just have someone look at it and she smiled at me and said no. Customer service is dead. Computers are running this place. Stay away!"
