"I went in yesterday to get some assistance on how to repair my phone under warranty. I was greeted by one of the salesperson who I showed my phone to and his quick response was "oh your phone is not repairable". I explained that I can still use it however the screen was just cracked and that I have the protection plan that should cover the repair. He went on to show me new phones and tried to up sale me to purchase a new phone and then later went on saying that he was not sure if all my data would be transferable to a new phone if I chose to reselect. After spending 30 or so minutes of my time I felt all he wanted me to do was purchase a new phone to make a sale. I asked if he could process a warranty claim for me to see if it was covered and he stated " I cannot process the claim however you can use your son's phone to file the claim ( who was at school and I didnt have his phone on me) and that it would cost me anywhere from $149.99 to $199.99 to replace it even with warranty and take up to a few business days to get a new phone. I was not convinced as I felt it was just a screen that needed replacement and it should be covered. I told him I was leaving. He looked upset of course since I didn't purchase a new phone and I left. Very unprofessional of him. I decided to visit the another Verizon location as my experience with Fort Myers was horrible and the manger at the new location I visited quickly assisted me. He informed me that I didn't need to replace my phone and that it was repairable. All I needed was a new screen as I thought. He was so professional and actually set up the claim for me where Fort Myers rep said "he couldn't" ( just didn't want to) and called the repair company to see how soon it could be completed for me. He was able to get me in the same day. He provided his business card and informed me to call him if I ever needed anything. I went and got my screen replaced and my phone is good as new. All because one person took the time to assist and listen to me as a customer on what I really needed not try to make a sale off of me. At this time I will never go back to the Fort Myers Store as my experience was horrible."
