"I brought in 5 shirts that I was told by another cleaner were "unsalvageable" due to a motor oil spill and neglect, and after a little more than a week, they had them looking like new. Prices are steep, but you get what you pay for. I'll gladly come here again."
"This place is great Prices are steep and could be lower Maybe offer deals when dropping off large amounts? Very nice family"
"I gave 2 stars because in many aspects the cleaners is good...but after the 2nd time they lost a 2nd article of clothing, I decided to go with a different cleaners. When I went to pick up my cleaning, I noticed a shirt they were giving me was not my shirt. He immediately said he knew who had my shirt and to wait 2 weeks to get it. He said he would call the guy who had it. All of this happened on a Saturday. That following Tuesday I went by the cleaners and as soon as I got in the door, he told me in an arrogant tone, "I told you to give me 2 weeks to get it"...I told him I knew what he said and I was coming in to show him the shirt that they lost. As soon as he saw it on my phone, he said that wasn't the shirt. I asked him, then which shirt did he think was missing. He didn't respond and deflected the question by asking me to come back in 2 weeks. When I came back 2 weeks later, he then told me that the guy he thought who had my shirt didn't have it but the shirt was given to his mother's or grandmother's client by mistake. He ask to give him 2 more weeks and that he wasn't going to give me full price for the shirt. In addition, he told me I would have to bring him a receipt to get any refund. Initially I got upset but remembered I had an account with the store where I purchased the shirt and they would have a record. After 2 weeks, I went back to the cleaners and showed him the receipt. He wanted to argue. I got my refund but it was alot less than the value of the receipt that was given Note...the shirt was seasonal and wasn't worn that many times. It had only been purchased the year prior. Thankfully the cost of the shirt was alot less than the refund I received...Noticing how the communication was going with the cleaners, It's always better to get someone before someone gets you..."
"We've been going here for years. They do a good job cleaning and also repairing. This time I needed a zipper replaced, some holes mended, and the lining of a jacket replaced. They did an excellent job."
"The owner was friendly to the person in front of me, but was so arrogant and rude to me when inquiring about a repair to a pair of track pants. He said “I don’t have time for that” and when I explained why I wanted it repaired, he kept admonishing me even after explaining the situation. It’s one thing if you can’t somehow get a quote for me, which is fair. But there’s no need to admonish potential customers and disrespect them. Would not recommend. It’s a shame since I would have recommended them otherwise. Also, the owner should look up the American Express Platinum Card to get a better idea of what I meant before being a wise guy to potential customers. Updated: I asked the owner for a quote for a repair and was very explicit about that, not sure about the perceived misunderstanding there. The paper was a place for him to put the quote. If he had listened instead of being a wise guy/admonishing me, he would’ve processed that. All he did was talk over me instead of listen. My business will be taken to a merchant who has basic comprehension skills and one who doesn’t reply to reviews with false recollections. Again, avoid."
