"This is a RC Catholic Church. I was here for a confirmation ceremony. Understand that I myself am not Catholic, so I don't know the ins and outs of the ceremony itself. Father Mike lead a wonderful ceremony. This church has some non hearing parishioners, and they support those parishioners by including a sign language interpreter, and the whole congregation signs the word Alleluia. Certainly a sight to see! The church is clean and quite large. If you are Catholic and in Ronkonkoma, then this is a good place for you to attend."
"This church has changed and not for the better Need to remember that the church is for the people."
"Amazing church and parish staff. So beautiful during Christmas and Easter seasons."
"I've been coming here for years, but not anymore. Mass is irreverent, immature, and babyish. The music is awful. Every homily they talk to the congregation like we're in kindergarten. Very little is geared towards people facing real problems or hardship in life. Not much is said about deeper spiritual life either. We just get a cheesy song strummed on an acoustic guitar and a high-five from a 4 year old. Kids running around the altar prior to receiving communion is common. They don't offer confession in private since COVID, which they are supposed to! I emailed the rectory and they told me private is not an option. The religious education is horrid too. And they wonder why they are always in financial trouble. I've since moved my family to St. Patrick's in Smithtown and the difference is night and day."
"Love this caring, loving church community. Fr. Mike is a great pastor, someone who cuts through it all to help you see things crystal clear. Not many priests can do this, but it's so refreshing. I listen & try to apply his humble message in my life. I am grateful & blessed to be a part of this parish."
