Lake Ronkonkoma County Park 600 Lake Shore Road, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779

"This park is big and beautiful with a huge lake (Lake Ronkonkoma), benches and picnic area with BBQ pits. It has 2 playgrounds one for kids 2 - 5 yrs and the other for the bigger kids. There are public restrooms, basketball courts, walking/jogging trails, tennis courts and so much more to enjoy."

"This park was so great. There are swings and two large play ground. With a separate playground for 2-5 year old which was perfect for my 17month old. The bathrooms were clean and accessible."

"The basketball hoops are functional as well as the handball court. The playground is pretty big as well, but this park is not well maintained. These pictures were taken on July 24 and 25. (Full 24hrs apart) The mess was cleaned up by the 26th. The park is not big so it is impossible to imagine how it could be missed if they cleaned throughout the day. There is a LOT of broken glass all over this park.(basically any surface that isn't paved or the playground, watch out) The path around the park and the baseball fields is becoming quickly overgrown. Earlier this summer the dumped a mountain of mulch on one path and then nothing on the majority so weeds and vegetation are over a foot tall in the path. As a free park, it gets 3 stars. As something they actually expect people to pay to visit,even town residents, one star."

"This is a nice place and a nice small area where you can walk a playground for the children the bathrooms are open not always clean and not always soap to wash your hands so bring your own the only complaint that I have is that there is glass all over the shore in the sand so please be careful with your pets and your children and yourself always wear shoes they have a place where you can play baseball and a racquet and handball area basically it's very clean I don't see that much garbage they do keep it well, besides the glass in the sand I would visit they only charge for parking on the weekends during the season time"

"In sunny days it could get very crowded. It has a parking lot handball court basketball court baseball fields and my favorite area BBQ fields. It also has restrooms, by the way it might be public but they are clean. Only problem I encountered is that the soap runs out quickly. Every thing else is amazing. Great place to come and enjoy a summer day."
