"Fantastic and fast experience! Brought my bike in on a Monday evening for a full tune up, and got a call Tuesday afternoon that it was ready for pick-up. Very professional and communicative and knowledgeable staff. They’ll be my go-to in the neighborhood!"
"Great experience. The gave my vintage bike a much needed tune up and threw in a free seat. I often do minor repairs myself, but was in over my head and having trouble finding parts. They made it look easy. Go here instead using CitiBike"
"Got 2 new tires put on ($75) and two days later the rear one exploded on me after getting air and the front one became deformed. I have been riding bikes since i was a kid, and riding seriously in NYC for 12 years and have never overfilled a tire. Anyway, i called B’s, they accused me of overfilling the tire, told me they *might* be able to help me out if they decided the damage was their fault, but given the attitude on the other end of the line i decided to take my now (bum) bike somewhere closer/more convenient because i don’t live near B’s. I went to King Kog (who are much friendlier, by the way) and they told me that the exploded tire was improperly installed and needed a rim strip (the existing rim strip was ELECTRICAL TAPE) and the spoke holes were poking right through it. B’s has lost my business for good and i just want my money back for the cheap/improperly installed tire."
"The bike shop was clean and well-organized, and the staff member I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable about bikes. However, the customer service was below the standard I've experienced at other local bike shops."
"Brought in an old bike to have both wheels trued. Super fast turn around; only took a few hours only due he had a bike ahead of mine. Could of easily charged me for both and said only the front needed it. Other shops in the area also charge about twice as much too. On top of that they stripped the cheap spray paint off and tightened all the nuts and bolts to safety standards. Great place! :)"
