"An amazing bike shop, run by an amazing and deeply knowledgeable guy. If you're ever uncertain about what type of bike to get, or a piece of gear or modification for your bike, Joe's advice is top notch. Last year I did a cross-country cycling trip; he helped me pick the perfect bike, as well as an amazing tent and pannier bags. The best bike shop I've ever patronized"
"Joe is super knowledge and eager to share his love for bike exploring with others! I’ve been on several of his bike packing trips, and they’re always well-planned and coordinated. I’d highly recommend coming here for your outdoor rec needs and definitely signing up for one of his tours!"
"I started stopping by 718 about 10 years ago when I was local - just made a long trip back for a new bike because the folks here have always been very trustworthy & so invested in biking. Joe (owner) has exceptional expertise but is super down to earth & welcoming too - it's been a huge help with all my beginner & "no idea what I'm doing" questions."
"A cycling shop with a spin. They don't focus on fixing/servicing bikes. They focus on the people. Bring your questions, and 718 will set you up for success. They also have outdoor gear outside of the cycling world. You can ask about camping, kayaking, hiking, etc. Lots of cycling things tho if you are mainly into that. I visited the shop and discovered a few goodies that come in handy from time to time and Joe answered all my questions. It's a refreshing take on the old school bike shop. There's no bikes but he will build you your own custom build that will fit like a glove. Answer all his questions and be honest with yourself, maybe even get a bike fit beforehand so you know your correct bike size and he will make you a GEM that fits your budget. Don't worry about budget, he will work with you. You'd be surprised what you can get done. Give this place a try!!"
"The perfect bike shop. Joe is knowledgeable, helpful, and an ally. I love him almost as much as I love the All-City Space Horse GRX he sold me (and the repeated mods he refuses to accept money for). Please be aware that he does not do repairs or flat fixes on bikes he did not sell. This is not a bicycle repair shop."
