"The medical team is fantastic!!! Caring, thoughtful, professional, efficient! Vera, Esfira and Max are wonderful as the rest of the team."
"Have been a patient of this practice for over three years now and most of that time I’ve been seeing Dr Max and I can’t recommend it enough! From front desk staff through nurses and doctors I always feel like I am being listened to and that all my concerns are being addressed. Moved to Manhattan and even though I would rather take a 40 min trip than go to another place."
"Firstly, I want to clarify that my one-star rating is not reflective of the practice as a whole, but rather of the behavior of the NP SHAHKMUROVA, whom I found to be rude and unprofessional. My family has been loyal patients at this practice for about a decade without encountering anything close to the experience I had during my recent visit. While I appreciate the professionalism of the other staff members including Dr. Vera Orlando, Dr. Max Rubin who consistently attend to their patients' needs, I would like to share my experience with this specific person. There is a new NP which apparently forgot to take any classes on communication and empathy or may be she dropped them altogether who knows. Since the beginning of the visit, she was rude and detached as if she's inconvenienced by my presence. I had to fill out some school forms for clearance and she seemed irritated from the get go. Additionally, when I requested some extra lab work, her response was dismissive and unprofessional by calling me "hunny" in a condescending manner, which I believe is so inappropriate. She was super unprofessional. She got me embarrassed because of the extra lab work I requested. Also overheard her speaking over the phone to a patient in a manner that lacked discretion and respect for patient privacy. As someone from a medical background, I am well aware how important is HIPPA and patient privacy, but her failure to close the door during such conversation was quite concerning. I also understand there are incidences of accidental violations but the reason I'm bringing it up that this NP has questionable professionalism, communication skills and empathy is nowhere to be found. I believe it is important for others to be aware of this so that no one else is subjected to the disrespectful treatment I experienced by THIS provider. No one deserves to be treated like that especially by their providers whom we entrust with our health."
"At this medical facility, my husband and I have seen Dr. Vera Orlando, who has been our GP for a year now. Dr. Orlando is a very articulate young woman, who talks to us as intelligent adults. She can easily explain difficult subjects and review every aspects of them. It’s refreshing, when you are over 65 and doctors have a tendency to “infantilize” you. She is extremely thorough in her examination, and she follows our health progress regularly, readjusting our medicine when necessary. There is rarely any waiting time to see her and she makes herself available to us easily. She makes every visits with her a pleasure, not a burden. I should also add that the staff at the reception desk is extremely pleasant and professional. They are very helpful and always available. The nurses are all absolutely wonderful: professional, patient and courteous. With them, you don’t feel the needle of a blood test… I would warmly recommend this medical facility. Everybody there, from the reception desk to the nurses and Dr. Orlando is professional, rigorous, and courteous."
"Do not go here! My experience with Doctor Yuryev as a practitioner was mediocre at best, but he consistently found the most ways to charge me for referrals and medications. Their management is even worse, and would only bill me months after the visit itself, leading to surprise bills after my insurance ended when I was between jobs. Overall, I don’t trust anything about this practice, and will definitely not be trusting them with my health or money."
