"I went to see him as a first physical in several years. I have some anxiety about going to the doctor as I am overweight. I am in good health and want a doctor who will see me as a whole person that has health concerns beyond being overweight. The first and only thing of substance that he was willing to discuss with me was that I should really focus on losing weight. He did not ask me about my diet before telling me that I should be eating more salads. It was condescending and rude. I will not be returning to see him. He did not show any interest in building rapport with me and did not make me feel comfortable discussing health concerns with him. Very disappointing. I would not feel comfortable trusting him to diagnosis me with something or treat a condition that was unrelated to weight as I do not think he would believe me."
