"If I could give this place zero stars and a lawsuit, I would. My elderly father recently had a life-threatening infection and was sent home with the plan to have antibiotics administer via picc line. Three doses in, his home health nurse arrived for the first time and alerted him to the fact that he had been delivered the wrong medication (!!!!). They were apologetic and sent the other medication as soon as possible, but this was very dangerous and a huge HIPAA violation (as my father received not only the wrong medication but it was someone elseโs medication). If I had more information or medical power of attorney, this place would be hearing from my lawyer."
"So, I've been using Lincare for many years, getting my first CPAP and all my supplies here. Initially, I went to the Syracuse office which seemed OK and the people helpful. I have since transferred to the Liverpool office. The few times I have gone there they are unorganized and make me wait for upwards of 15-30 minutes (I was the only customer). Meanwhile people are joking and laughing and eating cake in the break room or a candy bar. Last year, I had my new script sent in. I had actually forgotten about it for a several weeks, expecting a call from them, but they never called me. When I did inquire, they hadn't done anything, oops. Then they waited until the script was almost expired and said there was not enough time left on it to order the new one. Now I had to pay another office visit to MD to get a new script. I waited a year. Now it got called in again, and they didn't get back to me for a month. They are very expensive and charge patients and insurance ridiculous amounts. Another LOCAL company charged 1/2 the price for the same new machine. Internet is even more savings. No customer service, no customer appreciation, or service period. Forced to purchase a replacement filter for a wasted $7, just to stay on list. I will stop going here. Unfortunately it is a local business but they can't compete with others on all fronts. Seems like they don't even want to keep their dark, dingy, dirty, disorganized office in business. I actually feel bad for some of the workers, but like I said, they don't seem to care."
"too bad there isn't an eighth of a star and even that's too much! when i started on Medicare in May 2017 i had to find a new supplier for my apnea supplies. my original company was bought by Lincare and they took Medicare so i signed up. that was on June 2017. it is now April 2018 and i have yet to get ANY supplies out even be told I WILL be getting any. it has been a constant pain in faxing my doctors scripts for my equipment, copies of office visits, copies of my original show study, more scripts because it was a electronic signature not a real one, then the script had no date on it, one reason after another! I'd call every couple wks to see what i had to fax next. most of the time no one answered. occasionally someone from the national office would answer and say the office was busy and they'd have them call me back. no one EVER did! it's been 10 months and no services yet! i got as call last Saturday from them on my voice mail asking me to call on Monday. when i did no one answered. i called again and after several rings someone picked up and yelled "IS THIS CHARLIE?" when i said no they hung up leaving meet on hold. a Couple minutes later someone else picked up and screamed "BECKY???" I said no and they hung up again. i called back in a little while and finally someone answered and i asked to speak with a manager and was put through but got a voice mail. i left a rather nasty message asking to be called back ass it had gotten ridiculous! a couple hours later i got a call asking what i wanted. i said i had asked to speak to a manager because after 10 months i had still received no supplies and he said he was JUST ONE OF THE DELIVERY GUYS WHO THEY ASKED TO HELP OUT! and he hung up. that day i called Medicare and got the names of 2 other companies in my area and signed with one right away with no wait. i then called Lincare back and told them to delete my account as I'd found another provider who ACTUALLY ANSWERS THEY PHONE! I also asked Medicare to check you make sure no claims had been filed from Lincare as i had received nothing. i actually believe this company is a scam. in 10 months I've been assigned 5 different people to be my case manager so apparently people don't stay there due to the shoddy business practices! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"
"I really wish I could give less than a one star review. I have never encountered a more unorganized, unprofessional company in my life. I knew it was going to be bad when I walked in and their idea of file storage was manila folders stacked waist high all along the walls. That was over 3 years ago and things have just gone down hill from there. Constant problems ordering my CPAP supplies, account being put on hold for no reason. We are going on over 4 months now that I have not received any new supplies. Lincare blames my Dr when I know for a fact the paperwork was sent from the Dr's office the day I was there. Whenever I call I am met with nothing but attitude and contempt. Time to look for a new supplier"
"I have dealt with Lincare for several years, always had really good service, & never had a problem getting my supplies, other people have said how much Lincare doesn't follow thru.. Well I have a the pleasure to deal with Lincare on ordering Bipap supplies, I have had to call them for the last month every week to follow up on my supplies, 1. Rep took call never put nothing in. 2 weeks later no supplies, 2. called . they said they would get it said its authorization that holding up -another week goes by (still no supplies) 3. called again to follow up on my - each time have was told waiting on authorization. Its now the 4 week they've told went out so we'll see - I've never had to chance my supplies down and have to call them every week.. who has time to baby sit Lincare daily request.. Another good company that use to be great - slowly going down hill. - So bottom line believe people when they service has gone down hill."
