About the Business
Welcome to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, a warm and welcoming place of worship located at 6965 Chestnut Ridge Road, Lockport, New York. Our mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ, foster a caring church family, and extend a welcoming hand to those searching for a church home.
Join us for in-person worship every Sunday at 9:45 AM, with services also streamed live on Facebook for those who prefer to worship online. During the summer months, from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, we hold our services outdoors in the serene setting of our Chapel in the Woods, weather permitting.
We offer a range of services including Baptisms, Funerals, Weddings, Blended Services, and special Lenten/Advent services. As we continue our search for a new pastor, our Spiritual Care team, along with guest pastors, will lead our traditional communion services, which are announced on our website and through weekly emails.
We believe in inclusivity and invite everyone to worship with us just as they are. Whether you have been attending church all your life or are stepping inside one for the first time, you are welcome here. It doesn't matter how you dress, your background, or your current life circumstances – you are invited to join our community.
Our dedicated Office Manager, Christina Wilhelm, is available to assist with any inquiries about church activities. She can be reached in the church office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to 11:45 AM and 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM, and on Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM. We extend a special invitation to all women to join our Saturday gatherings – just bring your Bibles and everything else will be provided. If you don't have a Bible, we have extras available.
At Mount Olive, we understand the importance of teaching our faith to the next generation. We are grateful to our teachers and volunteers for their dedication, especially during events like Vacation Bible School, which provide fun and enriching experiences for our children.
