I highly recommend Dr Campbell at ECVA! HE is very caring and will listen to any questions you have. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years for routine exams and other concerns. I always feel like I am in great hands with him!!"

"Staff (front desk, tech) kind and efficient.hence 2 stars. Dr Campbell was recommended to me for my annual exam so I made an appointment.( I am 71 yrs old). When he came into the exam room today (no “hello” etc) he quickly looked at my eyes and acted surprised that I already had cataract surgery. Said he’s a surgeon and doesn’t see patients who have had their cataracts removed since he would have no time for surgery. He was so abrupt, and visit was so quick, that I couldn’t gather my thoughts to say anything. From other reviews, I see other folks had a better visit. Maybe he thought I wanted his opinion of my prior cataract surgery?? Maybe he was having a bad day when he saw me? Maybe it was his “evil twin”? But he gave me the name of an optometrist in the same group to see next year— even though macular degeneration runs in my family and I was always advised to see an ophthalmologist. I don’t think he looked at my records before coming in the room. I made an appointment for 2025 with another doctor in the group but I’m not sure I’ll continue with the group."

"My first appointment and I’m so impressed. The technician was efficient, knowledgeable, professional and personable. Dr Campbell took time and is kind and caring. My only disappointment is they do not offer serum tears that were very helpful for me, but I knew that when I booked my appointment. I highly recommend Dr Campbell and ECVA."

"Not impressed. The assistant did everything including testing what prescription would work. But she didn't really know what she was doing so she kept leaving and coming back. Finally saw the doctor for about 2 minutes for him to just look inside my eyes. It was all very strange. The office was nice and everyone was friendly so I gave 2 stars, but I prefer to go to a place where the actual doctor figures out the script so I won't be back."
