"One of the worst services for a health establishment I have ever experienced. Brought a patient in at 10. They wouldn’t allow me to go in which was fine at first. I know they have to do their thing and make it less crowded. I waited two hours asking every half hour if I can go in and be with the patient after she was contacting me she was scared and in pain. Nothing. Then the patient reached out to me and another family member updating me and ending up telling me to leave and come back when she’s discharged. Not a single nurse could come out for two minutes during those two hours to update the family. While watching others coming in and out of the rooms. The only good person was the security officer who tried his best with what he was limited to as duties. But even with his attempts not a single person came out to give an update and we had to take the patient’s word for it? With her contacting us from the room? Honestly disgusting the lack of empathy and service I have ever seen at a health establishment. Recommend never taking someone to this emergency room. You will lose sleep and feel worse about the situation."
"Back in July, I came here for help. I was extremely concerned about some strange symptoms I was experiencing. Dr McCleave was the doctor that attended to me. He did bloodwork. Said nothing was wrong. Said I didn’t look like I had Crohn’s and discharged me. I was there I think less than an hour. He did nothing. Absolutely nothing. Plus, he kept having to run back and forth to the computer because I had questions and he didn’t remember anything. I ended up at Mercy hospital ER 2 days later with a diagnosis. Usually the MACC is amazing. This time it was terrible"
"I wholeheartedly disagree with the negative reviewers, from the moment we arrived. The team was supportive and thorough. Including juggling multiple injuries, while maintaining professionalism and kindness. When someone is injured, they want to feel like the team knows what they're doing, and I can tell you from firsthand experience, this team is amazing. Even the security guards were kind to us, allowing us to juggle family members, while my son was in care. moving as fast as possible to alleviate his pain and get the right kind of test. In the end, while his injuries were severe, the support and service in care this team gave made the experience better."
"Went in for back pain& pain in my stomach. Did a ct scan - said I have gall stones. The “doctor” says an ultrasound would’ve showed better results?? Umm then why was a ct scan performed .. bc I asked how bad my stones were and got that answer. I had to keep repeating myself after he asked me 100 times what pain I was feeling. The nurse ripped my iv out and my arm started to gush. Thankfully my mom Caught it. If I didn’t feel like I was dying probably wouldn’t go back"
"I would not come here if my life depended on it. The nurses are incredibly rude, do not care to help what so ever. Came in because my doctor sent me in because I was still sick not getting better they did zero blood work. A nurse / staff member also said to another nurse I did not need a wheel chair because in her words outside of my room door were “ she could do a back hand spring she’s fine!” After I’m healing from a surgery. I was appalled to hear these words from an employee about me. They also sent me home without any antibiotics/ medicine went to the actual hospital in more severe pain the next day to find out my infection was very bad and doctors there were asking why the ambulatory center let me go without anything knowing there was infection present. Stay far away."
