"I have submitted the documents well before 45 days for my travel yet still didn’t receive passport on time. Im not sure if they are understaffed or any other issue but it is unacceptable to keep passport for 45 days. And be aware that the travel insurance for plane tickets and hotels are not covered if you cancel if the reason is non issuance of visa or late arrival of the same. Every thing has to be pre-booked and denmark takes 45 days to process the visa. This is just not worth the hassle. They don't want the tourists to spend money in their country."
"So slow. My travel date is approaching and i havent got my visa yet. Are you kidding me 10-20 applicants per day?"
"Absolutely no way to reach out to a case worker. Me and my wife applied together. They approved my application but not my wife’s. I am forced to miss my flight and lost a lot of money"
"The good: The employees I interacted with were professional, helpful, and patient with me when I made errors in the process. They worked within the bureaucracy to assist me, and I appreciated their communication and guidance. I hope they keep up the good work. 5 stars. The bad: The bureaucracy is really frustrating, i.e. the time it takes to complete the process, and the conflicting information online on how long it takes and how to do the application. Learn from my errors: you HAVE to use VFS services for the application, and you HAVE to get travel insurance of over $30k with a zero deductible. You also HAVE to show financial backing for your stay, even if you're traveling on business for a fully sponsored trip. Get all those ducks in a row before you apply, and don't spend anything you can't get back. Apply well in advance. One star. The fortunate: I was able to get a response before the 45-day deadline, but I am not sure if that was a normal occurrence. Your experience may vary."
"VFS claimed my visa will be done in 15 days, after a month passed I decided to withdraw my passport as I was travelling elsewhere as the embassy told me its gonna be 45 days, on the 30th day. The day I sent the email for withdrawal they approved my visa. I applied during peak summer - yes. I could've applied earlier? yes. VFS misled me by saying it will take 15 day maximum. The embassy gave me accurate information and processed accordingly. Not giving 5 stars as they chose to partner with VFS who gave me fake information on which I acted upon. I applied for the Iceland visa from Toronto btw."
