"Impossible to get a hold of. If I could give negative stars I would. Needed to get passport for my 1 year old daughter. For months, I emailed and called repeatedly to schedule an appointment. No response. I showed up to the building, couldn't be let in without an appointment. 10 months later, they reached out saying they have availability today/tomorrow at 9am. So I dropped everything and showed up at 8.50. There was no one in the consulate till 10am. At 10, someone eventually showed up, but took a 20 minute tea break (first thing). Two and half hours later, we're still waiting to be served. We are the only people at the consulate."

"I moved from utter frustration to empathy for the lone staff member.. when discovered that the Kenyan GOVERNMENT has ONE staff member working the WHOLE division. WHere the Heck does the money in tax we pay for go if they can't afford to have ample staff for more effecient running? Someone must digg into this . It is Not right!"

Kenya Government what is the point of having offices in New York when no one answers the phone? no one answers emails? getting access to enter the office is impossible. What are these people living lavida loca doing in New York? Close this office it is not serving Kenyans in New York."
