"This place can be skipped! I moved to this area in February and was looking for somewhere closer to do my hair instead of going all the way to Brooklyn. I walked by the Salon and stopped in asked some questions and made and appointment for a wash and blow out. This was a old school place so I figured I was in good hands.. The fist woman not the owner did my hair it was good. One day the owner Gloria had to do my hair and it was awful. My hair was a mess, I had to fix it when I got home. The next time my regular lady was there. After that my days and hours changed to where I could only go on Saturday's. The fist Saturday was fine my lady was there, second week the owner I figured my regular lady was out that weekend. Nope all of a sudden it's only the owner and this little boy that is her grandson I think. Screams cries hits her while she's doing my hair which is irritating when you're doing your hair to relax! That little boy is there in the afternoons so I figured Saturday was safe again nope. She did her last bad job to my hair that day. Found a place further from what I am familiar with but, my hair is getting back to normal. I have my shine and healthiness back!"

"Well...I am from out of state and overall she over charged me for simple highlights. She charged me over $300 and then she called me and accused me of not paying at all she threatened to go to the cops because i “robbed” her but since im from out of state and the amount is so large it took a couple days to go through. I even sent her the invoice that the payment went through. Once she saw the money in her account she never bothered to call me back to apologize. She also is very rough and slow I got there at 12 pm and left at 9pm she was ripping out clumps of my hair while she washed out the bleach."

"I got highlights. I had a terrible experience. Gloria was very very rough on hair. There were literally chunks of my hair lying in the sink. I get that I had kinda long hair (mid back) but never in my life has my hair tangled so badly. Then she was so rough when brushing she literally pulled bunches out of my scalp. My head still hurts after a day. - She was quite slow. I arrived at 9 45 and left at 2 05. Took her 4+ hours and there were no other customers. - Color was not what I wanted. I asked for a shade of brown (on the darker side) - I showed a picture of the color and style. Few brown highlights that's all. She made most of my hair blonde. They say it usually darkens Abit after a day so I thought it might get better but it didn't. My hair still stinks like bleach & feels like straw after a day. I hate it. - Wasted my money here. I still tipped because of her time but dear God I'm never going there ever again. Now I have to go to another salon, pay again, to fix this nasty disastrous hair. - I wish I read Yelp reviews first. I don't know who is giving 5 stars here, but theres a reason this place is always empty."
