"Absolutely horrible experience! Do not go here. I made an appointment for my friend. While my friend was at her appointment, getting her hair braided, the woman doing her hair, Seynabou I believe is her name, stopped and did 2 other peoples hair! She also didn’t braid my friends hair all the way to the end of the braid, she redid some cornrows a couple of times, and combed out her hair roughly. It was horrible. I called Seynabou later to say that how she treated my friend wasn’t good, and Seynabou said Nigerians ask for too much and she’s good, she doesn’t need our business, and that she has thousands of customers. "2 of the hair dressers at this place are the absolute bomb. They make you feel welcome, they’re quiet and friendly. Mary and Fati. The owner and her sister, however…. Rude, rude, rude. Rude on the phone. Rude in person. Loud. They intimidate you by speaking over you in their own language and just by the tone you KNOW INSTINCTIVELY that they’re probably cussing you out. They raise the price so high, it doesn’t make sense. You could agree on a price with Khadija, but when you go the next day, her sister would do your hair and she decides to charge you an extra $20 out of nowhere. African hair braiders need to undergo customer training. This ain’t it! Also the place is ok, but the toilet isn’t always clean. There isn’t always toilet paper either."
