"First time here and a less than stellar experience. I'm giving 2 stars because the salon is beautiful and the owner was very welcoming. I asked for the regular pedicure (that's all I've ever gotten at area salons) - $40. The technician told me I had too much dead skin for that and I needed the $50 pedicure because he needed to use the metal pedicure tool (the cheese grater) and that the regular pedicure only included the pumice stone. I said I had never had to pay extra for the cheese grater but agreed to the $50 pedicure as I was already there, feet soaking. I've had a lot of pedicures at area salons and never once was I told I had to pay more for callus removal. He used the callus remover lotion and the cheese grater. I checked out and the owner asked how everything was, which I appreciated and said it was fine. Now that I'm home, I looked at the pedicure descriptions on the salon's website. The regular pedicure says it includes "callus removal". None of the more expensive pedicures say anything else about callus removal to indicate that their are "degrees". Also, the $50 pedicure says it includes a 7 minute foot massage. I didn't receive a massage of any sort. I took a closer look at my toes now that I'm home and there is polish on the cuticle and nail bed that I wouldn't expect to have there after visiting a salon. Another person with me had to pay for the $45 pedicure because she as well needed the cheese grater. She was supposed to get a 5 minute massage and received a 30 second one, at best. Very disappointed that I didn't receive what I paid for."

"Best experience I’ve ever had getting my nails done. Mike worked on my nails and not only did a beautiful job, but made sure that my nails turned out just right. I mentioned that I had a splinter in my finger and they offered to remove it for me. Additionally, Mike added flowers to my nails out of pure generosity. I visited with my mom who has two fingers that have been injured, causing her nails to be disfigured. The gentleman who worked on her did an outstanding job with working around it and making her feel beautiful. I would recommend this place to everyone."

"Went here for the first time today and I will never go back again. I went in to get a set of acrylics and I asked for almond shape and the guy said he didn’t know how to do it. I then asked for round and he proceeded to tell me that I should get square instead because it would look better on me. He attempted to do round and it was uneven, and I asked him to fix it nicely and he ended up making the nail too short. Then during the buffing he cut me 3 times and then ended up gluing the skin underneath my thumb because the bleeding wouldn’t stop. He rushed on my nails painting them to the point where the polish isn’t even finished completely and the top coat is bumpy. Very unhappy and very upset as this place was recommended to me. I will not be returning again."
