"Well the bottom of my door started to rust. Every time I went in for my yearly checkup I would mention this to them. After several years of nothing getting done they finally told me to submit a claim. took pictures of the and said that I would hear within 30 days after 90 days I sent them an email asking him what the holdup was. They responded with an email telling me that it was not covered under warranty. What is the sense of getting your car rust proof taken into every year for a checkup if they're not going to cover it when it rusts? I've had three vehicles I've taken in there I will never ever do business with ziebart again."

"Ziebart is a great product, especially preventing vehicle rust here in the Northeast. However, there's a lot of room for improvement dealing with the customers. Poor scheduling and lack of communication with the customer. I thought I had an 8:00 AM appointment thinking that this follow up appointment would only take an hour. So, I waited. What should have been relayed to the customer is "the 8:00 AM or later time, is a drop off time and it their vehicle would be ready about 2-3:00 PM... I waited 6 hours unnecessarily. I truly hope that Ziebart sorts this out."

"I have been kind. I HAVE BEEN PATIENT and now I'm beyond my limits. My car, the one we bought in Dec. Had it for 72 days and got hit in a parking lot. After the repairs had been done, it was sent to Ziebart to get the stone guards put on again. Which was 30 days later and they had it for a few days as well. We picked it up again from the body shop and noticed immediately that the stone guard wasn't installed by Ziebart properly. We called them the next day and drove over to their Hiawatha Blvd location to have them take pics. We were told it needed approval before they could do the work. That was 3.5 weeks ago and 5 phone calls since then with NO approval to fix the shote work they did on my vehicle!!! I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They do not care about their work, their customers or how they treat people. We will recommend another company to all of our business associates and friends from here on out."

"This place should be ashamed of itself. They have ruined the frame of my 2013 Chevy Silverado. After I placed a claim, they waited over 6 months to get back to me and told me that because I didn't come in within the time frame in 2020 I was not eligible for a claim. I called them to make a appointment for 2020, where they told me due to COVID I couldn't bring the truck in until further notice and they were still granting my warranty. I also told them in 2021 and 2022 my state inspector said that the frame was getting rusty. I left the truck with them for 2 days both years and when I picked it up they told me I was all set. Terrible customer service and managers at this location. No proper communication at all and extremely unhelpful with this whole situation. Only after contacting corporate we got answers. They did nothing but just spray more undercoating on the frame so I couldn't see the rust. Now it has costed over $8,000 dollars to repair damages they caused on an otherwise good vehicle. What a joke. Thanks Ziebart for nothing other than ruining my truck. Make sure anyone reading this stays away from this place, or they will ruin your vehicle, too!"

"Ziebart undercoating is by far the WORST type of protection from salt and corrosion. This is an example of a 2017 Silverado that had Ziebart undercoating applied from new until last year…. The coating creates a way for moisture to stay in between the metal surface and actual coating. It offers zero protection to a frame as seen in pictures. It is not applied inside rocker panels, wheel wells, inside of the frame etc. It is only applied and re-applied yearly to areas seen by the eye. The salt brine moisture sits between the steel and undercoat layer causing excessive corrosion to form and keep forming! This truck would have been better off with no undercoating. As an automotive tech we see these vehicles on a lift far too often with this same problem. The solution and best overall undercoating to repel water/salt/brine mixtures is an oil coating that creeps into crevasses and low wash areas to repel water. Woolwax and Krown coatings are a few examples. Highly advise doing research before purchasing this undercoating. Added more pictures of another vehicle that was just “yearly coated”"
