After my drink was finished, she snatched my money and slammed my change on the table. When I asked for a plastic bag, she gave me a paper bag. Never coming back again."

"Only an above avg Chinese bakery in most respects but they’re exceptional for their taro buns. The taro buns used to be much more stuffed but they’re still excellent and no other place has them in the neighborhood afaik. Their egg tarts are solid and they have moon cake when it’s seasonal Still, this is probs my fav bakery in the area"

"The lady is rude as hell! Me and my family came here because we were hungry touring Brooklyn. We asked the lady for a lemon cake but changed our mind to 2 lemon cakes. The lady screamed at us with a FULL ATTITUDE. She proceeded to grab our money in a RAGE and you can tell the tension. She also yelled (very loudly) at us AGAIN with an annoyed tone. She looked at us as if she wanted us to go very quickly. Maybe she doesn’t like brown people idk. My family felt UNWELCOMED and wanted to yell at her. We were so shocked about this unprofessional behavior, we just mumbled “she is rude” as she counted our money. We were nice with the lady, why can’t she be nice to us?! When the other Asians came by speaking Mandarin/ Cantonese she was very respectful. Maybe see doesn’t like Indians who knows. Wow, just wow. The prices of the food are good but the attitude will make you say, NOT WORTH IT. Don’t come here if you can’t deal with yelling and RUDENESS."

"very nice and chewy bread with a delicate texture that i thoroughly enjoyed. not the best filling around but it is well seasoned and the filling was adequate for the amount of bread. can't wait to come back! it has an A grade and the lady working the front was super nice"

"Good and cheap bakery on East Broadway. There are a lot of cheap and delicious places on this street that not a lot of tourist know about. What I like about this place is that they have unique sweets that I haven't seen in other Chinese bakeries. This is the first time I've seen a sesame swiss roll. The sesame taste wasn't strong, but you can still taste it and the texture is there. It's not too sweet and really fluffy. They also have meat and rice dishes already packaged for $3.50."
