"I headed her on a beautiful Saturday to hang out with some friends and check out the dover market for it’s beautiful design pieces. My friend was waiting for me here and had me craving to get some coffee here rather than a nearby cafe. I’m so happy we decided to stay because I will have to tell you that their Blueberry donut and flat white were absolutely delightful. I haven’t had a flat white crafted so flawlessly in so long this bakery definitely meet my expectations and beyond it. The coffee beans were roasted to perfection and you could tell it with the amazing fusion of mixture between the milk and espresso. Absolutely rich and lightly strong to taste perfectly it’s job as a flat white. As for their blueberry donut it had a perfect consistency and balance of both sweet yet a slight bit savory which maxed it not heavy on the stomach. I’d have to say the coffee and pastry definitely did hit and were very neatly made; which make my whole shopping experience after much more pleasant and refreshing. The atmosphere and ambiance of the interior design of rose was absolutely terrific ! Very relaxing and laid-back yet inviting, complimenting the market’s design with a minimalistic design style, yet very elegant and detailed in design that really reflected perfectly into the café. Lastly I’d like to highlight the friendliness of the waiters and staff that accommodated us so nicely although. The service at the Rose bakery was very gracious! The staff were so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout ou little sit down. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and taken care of. It definitely added to the cozy vibe of the place and made our experience one to remember! Javi and Tomas were truly nice: very positive and inviting individual, helped with recommendations, personal drinks and sweets they enjoyed, and everything! I really cannot stress enough on how amazing our experience at Rose bakery was: this must be a go to spot if you are near by and need some coffee to give you a refreshing start to your day All in all, I will have to say this is definitely one of my favorite bakeries in nyc that serves, I’ve been to so many and rarely does anything hit the spot and felt like home like Rose. Whole heartedly I really loved my experience at Rose, very palatable to the majority and packed with great flavor! All in all, a top rated experience, I invite you to pursue a visit in dining here; I can assure you I’m definitely coming back again and again!"
"they used to have one chef here, she was female, dark hair and left about 2 years ago. Since then it went downhill. Menu never changes, service is notoriously bad, you will sit there for 40 min if you dont walk up to them and tell them you are there. Even though they have 4 people working all the time. They need a new direction asap .. this used to be a gem."
"Stopped by to enjoy coffee and a treat - it was slow around 2 on a sunny Saturday in July. Our cortados and baked goods were wonderful — a cherry scone served warm with fruit preserves and clotted cream, and a chewy white chocolate raspberry cookie. Service was thoughtful, food was wonderful, environment beautiful and calm. Highly recommend."
"Small, laid back cafe with an interesting selection. You can order tinned fish, which is fantastic, which they serve with bread, olives and a salad. The coffee is from Sey, and they have a neat little grocery section as well. Well worth a visit."
"I love this shop. I always stop by and get my coffee and sweet dessert. Kind staff and nice atmostphere make me happy."
