"Glad I got to experience this iconic bakery while visiting NYC. Good variety of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other good looking pastries, as well as their famous banana pudding. Be mindful that there is one line for the puddings and a separate line for the other items. We came in the evening toward closing time and it wasn’t a long wait. The banana pudding is light, fluffy, the perfect texture, and not too sweet. It is worth a stop if you are in the city."

"A lot of friends had recommended this bakery, specifically to try the banana pudding. I was apprehensive on how good a banana pudding would be, but this was incredible!! They also sell other treats like cookies which were flying off the shelf but the banana pudding is a must, we shared it between 2 of us as we weren’t really hungry, but if you can I was advise to go when you’re feeling hungry and get 1 each."

"This is my go to place whenever I visit the city- they have the BEST banana pudding! The pudding is nicely sweetened with such a fluffy yet creamy taste. If you’re in NYC, you have to try Magnolia! Service is fast. There’s two lines which are for those that want banana pudding and those that want their bakery items. I’ve only tried the classic pudding, I would love to try their other pudding flavors! There’s no seating inside, but there’s plenty of seating options across the street."

"They have the best Banana Pudding in the world! Creamy, right amount of sugar and rich in flavor. There’s always lineups inside and even outside the bakery, but good new is that it moves really fast, specially if you only want to buy Banana Pudding and don’t want to check other options. Despite the crowded environment and too many customers to deal with, the staff are kind and friendly."

"The banana pudding was very good, but there could have been more bananas and lady fingers definitely. The red velvet cake was ok just a bit too sweet but the sponge was very good. Try to avoid going during the times when it is busiest (morning/ early afternoon) because you will have to wait in a line for a while."
