"Such a beautiful spot! Great cappuccino and pastries. Very nice service. Loved the atmosphere"
"The premium gelato is back available again and the quality is excellent. There have dairy free flavors available. Highly recommended."
"The first time I came to this place was in January and the experience at the speakeasy was ok. The sandwiches were fine and the service was ok too. Yesterday I took my parents for a quick lunch after the museum, and the whole experience was terrible. First, the service was very poor, it seemed that the manager wasn’t happy with a group of Latinos (my parents don’t speak fluentEnglish) visiting their restaurant. The food was terrible, the sandwiches were very dry, the chicken schnitzel wasn’t fresh, and the tuna sandwich seemed like canned tuna. Not what you would expect from a restaurant of this area. This is a place where if you don’t fit their criteria, they treat you as if you don’t belong there. I felt so embarrassed with my parents, out of all the amazing places I could’ve taken them since they were visiting me in NYC, I took them to this place, and the entire experience left us extremely disappointed and as if we had thrown our monyin the trash. The worst part is that this is not the first review questioning their treatment of BIPOC that you’ll find here. If you happen to be anything other than a white-passing individual, I’d definitely skip it and go somewhere else."
"I ate breakfast here with my family and it was brilliant! Everyone had a lovely meal! I had the french toast and it was hands down the best french toast that I’ve ever had! The rest of my family got the chocolate chip pancakes, the shakshouka and the grilled halloumi and avocado, all of which was enjoyed throughly. The service was very good as well. I will definitely try to return here when I’m next in NYC"
"Had an awesome breakfast here and the staff was attentive and kind. The manager put the World Cup on and even gave us a tour of the speakeasy building they were in, he allowed me to take pictures and enhanced our experience. I had that shakshouka which is poached egg in tomato sauce and spices, my friend had the eggs and croissant and we shared the ladneh. I enjoyed all of it, their iced tea had a cardamom/saffron taste to it. Their croissant is flaky and buttery goodness. Overall glad I went."
