Super 8 by Wyndham Oneonta/Cooperstown

"We spent three nights at the Super 8. We were attending our grandson's playing at Cooperstown. The place isn't much to look at but our room was surprisingly nice an also very clean. It had been updated a bit and we were comfortable there. There is a Denny's out front and it is close to Walmart and other shopping. It is about 15 minutes from the All Star Village, unless you get lost, which we did on our first day. The price is reasonable as it is a busy time of year. I would recommend staying here instead of a vacation rental. The experiences I heard from others wasn't as positive as ours."

"So annoyed that I booked here. I should have researched better. The room smells like mildew. The whole place needs a major facelift. Old, sad, and worn. Absolutely not worth $250 a night. Will never stay here again - I’d rather sleep in my car! Room was dusty and had a piece of chew gum on the headboard. Gross!!!"

"Basic super 8 - clean and fine - nothing special. One night stay for Cooperstown visit (about 30 minutes away) the following morning. Good location as Denny's for breakfast is across parking lot and small shopping mall for any needs is across street (I went to movie theater as arrived early afternoon)."

"Charged $26 for dirty towels. Decent price at first. But then when you check out they have an itemized list of everything in the room. $100 cash deposit and they will take money from you for dirty towels... This place is decent price, for less than average amenities. Wifi didn't work and continental breakfast is a joke."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi wouldn’t work for us, even after they reset it. The room itself is very spacious, but didn’t have carpeting which we didn’t like. The floor was a hardwood laminate of some sort which was damaged and separating. The coffee from the coffee pot in the room was just colored water, but luckily they were serving coffee at the continental breakfast. The water was hot, the towels and bedding were clean and fresh. Overall, on a budget, for a day or two, this is a good place to stay."
