I walked out with perfectly fitted shoes that are honestly the most comfortable I've ever had, and I was there less than 30 minutes! "What a great experience! I have very wide, flat feet, and have been struggling with some tendonitis in my ankle. Finding the right running shoes is usually so difficult for me, and I never seem to find just the right pair, but end up making do with whatever is the least uncomfortable. We stopped into the Appalachian Running Company for the first time tonight, and it won’t be our last! Sharon was SO knowledgeable and patient with me. I must have tried on more than 10 pairs of shoes and finally found a pair that actually feel comfortable! For many years I have patronized both large sporting goods retailers and small running shoe stores, and none have ever had the inventory and size selection that Appalachian has. I need wide size stability shoes. Every pair I tried on was in the exact size and support level I need, so I was able to make a solid decision right on the spot. Not only did they carry my extended size, but they had enough inventory that I could actually choose a color I like, as well! This NEVER happens! I will be back for sure. :)"
