"Absolutely horrible customer service. Properties are not fully stocked & in some cases extremely confusing to get into. We spent an hour on the phone with customer service outside of our rental trying to get in. The key we picked up did NOTHING. Stains all over the property. It smelled weird. and it was overall the worst airbnb experience we have ever had."

"We rented a house in Cape Coral for the month of February. Upon arrival we found the pools solar heat did not work. We notified Vacasa and they did nothing. I called every few days for the full month. Their call center would tell me that someone would call but they never did get back to me. Not even a visit or call from local manager. Pool was 68 degrees so we could not use it. I will never use Vacasa again."

"Renting from Vacasa was the worst experience of my rental life. I have been renting homes and condos for 20 years, and never had such a miserable experience. Let's start with the 15 digit access code which needs to be entered EVERY SINGLE TIME you need to get in the door. (No house key anywhere). SIGNS EVERYWHERE telling you what you MUST do (such as replacing the "amenities" the owner left, like the clothes washing detergent which didn't exist), and what you must NOT do (don't set the a/c below or above this or that temp, don't use too much toilet paper, etc., etc., etc.). The pool furniture was disgustingly moldy and unusable. The pool walls are stained, making the pool look as it there is slime on the walls It took THREE days to get someone out there to explain to us that it was metal stain, not slime. There is NO local presence. NONE. No one from Vacasa ever came to address any of our complaints. They actually expect you to strip your beds and start a load of linens upon departure, to save the maids time. That's tough to do when there isn't any laundry detergent. They want you to put your garbage and recycling out before you leave (no problem), but they want you to then place the containers in the garage, to which renters have no access. The home was clean (kudos to the maids), and the furniture was comfortable. But i will NEVER EVER rent from these people again. I expect a local presence, who knows when things are wrong, and fixes them before new renters arrive. I expect a local presence who can come and assist renters while they are there. I expect a company who gives a damn about the rental experience, and one whom i can actually contact and get a response from in less than 3 days. You can't automate everything, and a good rental experience is one of those things. Those owners should simply drop Vacasa. They are not doing a good job at all."
