"Wonderful experience"

"While this home is in a perfect mountain location and is very spacious, easily accommodating our family, it has some serious issues with cleanliness and overall condition. We‘ve traveled to Deep Creek for Thanksgiving for the past 15 years, and this house was hands down the dirtiest we’ve ever encountered. Stair hand railings were filthy, carpets were stained, remnants of a drink was left in the blender, silverware and dishes were dirty, kitchen surfaces were dirty and the closet in one of the upstairs bedroom reeked of cat urine. The cat urine smell was so strong that the family member who slept in there had to wash his clothes several times and air out his suitcase when he returned home. The garage refrigerator was absolutely disgusting, with spilled food and liquids. With regard to the overall condition of the home, walls were marked up, doors were scratched, furniture was beat up, the hot tub had been broken into by a bear and not repaired, the mattress in the main floor master collapsed on one side while someone was sleeping in it and the blinds in the cat urine room were broken with several slats missing. The closets in the house were a mess, with random items thrown inside. Considering the rental price, this was absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. I feel like we were robbed. This house should never have been rented in the condition it is in. It should be taken out of rotation, given a deep cleaning and all of the damages and run down items repaired before being put back on the market."

"House is very spacious and set up nicely for a big group to stay in. The fire pit, hot tub, and huge kitchen were the highlights. It needs some updating and repair though, but with these upgrades it would be perfect."
