"This is our second year renting from Taylor-Made, and they have had the best rates of competitors, great houses, and quick responses to any questions I’ve encountered. We will be renting from them again next year for our yearly tradition. The house we stayed at was Maple Manor, and this was our second year at this location. We love the location of the house, the whole house sound system, the outdoor fireplace, and the fully stocked game room. It is the perfect house for people of all ages. Our kids are already asking “how long until we go back?!” I would recommend both Taylor Made, and Maple Manor to anyone!"

"Stayed at the cabin at slopes edge from 8/13/23 to 8/16/23. Was a very disappointing experience overall. Cabin has potential but is in major need of repair and improvements are definitely needed. Experience at the cabin: Cabin was musty and smelt like a wet basement. Upon settling in for our first night noticed issues everywhere. The track of the sliding door in the back bedroom was filled with water inside and out. Window ac in the kitchen is outdated and not clean. Ac filter was so thick of dust that the unit was froze up and dripping onto the kitchen floor. Under the sink was leaking for some time as there was mold and a bowl full of water catching the drops inside the cabinet. Some kind of hot water facet at the kitchen sink was broke, mutiple stair trends going up the spiral stair case are loose and slide around as you go to walk up them, bathroom door hinges are loose, deck railing on the back side of the house and by the hot tub are loose/rotted that if you would push/lean on them hard enough your gonna go through them, deck boards by the hot tub and back sliding door are rotting, deck is in serious need of repair and weather proofing. Hot tub was not ready Upon arrival(when we arrived at 430pm temp was 76 degrees) the little card they left showed it would be ready by 4pm, hot tub cover is worn and starting to fall apart, cover holder was broke, after our first night the hot tub became cloudy And the water started to smell. Could never get the Bluetooth radio in cabin to work or the back porch lights to work. Cabin was not clean Upon our arrival. Oven was dirty with baked on food/grease, dinnerware and bakeware were dirty. Coffee pot was moldy and looked as it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Outside of cabin is in need of a face lift. Windows were so dirty they look like they are glazed. Trash can holders were ripped apart by the bear so trash was everywhere. Maintenance guy said it had just been fixed recently but broken in to fairly quickly. maybe you need some steel and not 1x6s. did not provide toilet paper, trash bags or paper towels nor did they mention that it wasn't included. This has always been included in prior cabin rentals at other companies. Should inform customer ahead of time. Spoke to the company about issues. Sent a repair order to get sink fixed and ac looked at. Maintenance guy was great fixed sink but said ac needed to be replaced. Didn't help us during our stay. Was told that I would get email to send pictures to so they could be shared with management but as of this review still haven't gotten an email from them. You should also inform your customer that there are mutiple cabins on the property and that ac units are window units. Very unhappy for the amount of money I spent to stay at this location."

"Our family stayed at The Haven at Deep Creek Lake for 1-week and our experience was not good! Upon our arrival, we found a list on the bar from the previous week renters of 8-10 issues that they had reported during their stay at this rental property. The reported items included dining table chairs (18-20) are very unstable, ice makers do not work, dishwasher rack is broken, gas fireplace on deck not working, and a few others. None of these issues had been fixed prior to our arrival or during the week that we were there. In addition to the issues above, we arrived on Saturday and the internet and TV’s throughout the house were not working until someone could come out on Monday afternoon to fix the issue. Additionally, the coffee maker didn’t work, hot water took a really long time to get to the showers throughout the house, hot tub and under deck area was filthy, fire alarm was chirping, cracked toilet seats on main and lower level bathrooms, corner bumper on boat dock was missing were among some of the issues that we had found and reported. Mid-week they sent someone out to repair the toilet on the main level and they brought us a bag of ice since the ice makers were not working. The repair guy also thought he had fixed one of the ice makers, but it never made any ice all week. The biggest issue that we reported to Taylor-Made multiple times during the week was that the boat dock had come loose from where the walkway was positioned to meet the steps and the dock walkway was a few feet under water. We had also reported to the rental agency that the boat dock only had 1 full size pole for the entire 2-boat slip dock. The 2nd pole was broken off near the same level as the dock and by day 2 or 3 that corner of the dock was sitting on top of this broken pole. The boat dock had holes where there should have been a total of 6 poles to adequately secure it and there should also have been chains or ropes to secure two of the corners to land. This dock was not adequately secured whatsoever!!! We had called the rental agency daily to report this issue and no one came out to investigate or fix the issue. Due to the insufficient anchor poles and lack of any tie points to land for this large of a boat slip – our new boat had many-many scratches on the side of the haul. I’m not one to complain, but when we pay a large amount of cash to rent a large rental property for the entire family for the week and there are this many reported issues and nothing is done to remedy the issues after being reported multiple times then I feel it’s necessary to mention in my review."

"Showed up to a nice house and great location. However we were disappointed at the conditions. No toilet paper in the entire house. No trash bags to be found. Not enough sets of towels and wash clothes per person. Supposed to house 12 and there wasn't 12 sets. Not to mention while looking for any of the above mentioned items that was lacking we came across a makeshift weight room which was definitely not intended for renter use. Gave us the feeling that someone was secretly living there. Will not use Taylor-Made rentals again."

"The Beau Chateau was everything it displayed. Me and my guests truly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful. More than enough space to entertain the 11 guests there. The hot tub was amazing the game are downstairs was awesome w the bar area.. every about this was excellent. I would definitely stay again. It was clean, a good array.. about 10 min drive from ski lodge and stores if need to make a quick run if you forget anything"
