"Dr. Evans saved my life. I found myself in the ER and was diagnosed with appendicitis. I met Dr. Evans a while later in the OR, where I was prepped for what everyone thought would be a 30 minute routine procedure. It was discovered that my infection had spread to my bowels, and Dr. Evans had to remove a portion of my colon as well as appendix and flush my abdominal cavity to clean out the infection. I had a rough recovery, but without Dr. Evans I would surely have died and I am forever grateful to him and his team. He took an active role in my recovery and made sure I had the best care while in the hospital and after."
